Industrial Electrical Controls Training
Integrate relays and motor starters in control circuits
Our intensive hands-on industrial electrical controls troubleshooting course covers material essential for Mechanic/Technician job performance. A variety of electrical control devices will be explored including momentary and latching contacts, motor starters, overloads, relays, and various switches. Circuits gradually become more complex and will be built from diagrams using industrial components. Faults are introduced requiring participants to troubleshoot the circuits using multimeters to systematically locate problems.
Topics Covered:
- Operation and use of relays
- Identification of industrial symbols
- Building circuits using diagrams
- Timing circuits
- Operation of motor starters and auxiliary contact operation
- Operation of overloads, circuit breakers and fuses
|
 |
- Operation of various switches
- Safety procedures and practices
- Correct wiring procedures
- NO/NC contacts
